Academic achievements:

Yashasvi Vidyanikethan school has achieved 100% result in class 10 CBSE Board examinations- 2024. Out of the 62 students who appeared for the board examination, 4 students scored 90% above, 16 students scored 80 to 90 %, 11 students scored 70 to 80 %, 13 students scored 60 to 70 %, 14 students scored 50 to 60 % and 4 students scored 40 to 50 % of total marks. The top scorers are Spandana – 93.8%,   Prathikshya Sahoo – 93.4%, Niranjan-93%, and  Mohammd Aman- 92.8%.

Academic Activities: The school has organized many academic activities based on Experiential Learning, Art Integration and 21^st Century Skills.  Students have participated in CBSE Regional Science Exhibition, Maths Olympiad, Heritage Quiz, AryaBhatta Ganith Challenge, Reading Challenge, Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat, CBSE Science Expo and similar activities which promote the scientific temper, sense of enquiry and experiential learning among students.

School Activities/ Events Celebrated and Integrated with Teaching Learning Process:

World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal to spread awareness and promote environmental sensitivity to conserve our mother earth. Various activities were conducted based on the Theme: “Beat Plastic Pollution.” Saplings of trees including medicinal plants were distributed to parents, teachers, and students.

International Yoga Day, Doctor’s Day, Independence Day, Teacher’s Day, Krishna Janmashtami, Hindi Divas, Swachhat  Pakhwada-cleanliness drive, Children’s Day, Kannada Raajyotsava, Prathibha Anveshana( Science Exhibition), Deepawali, Christmas Day, Makar Sankranti, National science Day, etc. were celebrated to encourage students to enthusiastically participate in related activities and to promote imagination, creativity, patriotism, scientific attitude, and to value our culture and heritage.

Co–Curricular Activities (CCA):

Various co-curricular activities such as calligraphy, poster making, storytelling, patriotic song, drawing and colouring, collage making, cooking without fire, vegetable carving, clay modelling, Diya decoration, extempore, solo dance, solo song , etc. were conducted to encourage and motivate the students to show case their talents and skills in various areas.

Inter–School Competitions:

Students have participated and won prizes in various inter school competitions such as: CBSE skill expo, National science fair by JSS Academy, Physics workshop by Reva University, Reva genesis quiz competition, Classmate quiz competition, Arithmetic genius contest, Logiquids, Inspire award, Raman award, Green Olympiad, G.K Olympiad, Hindi Olympiad, etc.

Sports and Yoga:

Students have participated in Yoga and Throw ball competition in  CBSE regional level sports and games competition,2023-24, organized by Bangalore Sahodaya School Complex Association.

Art:

Students participated in Ek Bharat- Shresht Bharat Art Integrated competition conducted by Bangalore Sahodaya School Complex Association.

Teacher Awards:

Teachers,  Mrs. Babita Pooniya,  Mrs. Kavita Singh and Mr. Suresh were honored with Guru Samman awards by  Bangalore Sahodaya School Complex Association for their excellence, unique contribution and dedication towards teaching.

Teacher Enhancement Programmes:

Teachers attended numerous online and offline workshops and inhouse training programmes  in various topics such as: Art integrated learning, Experiential learning, Capacity building programme in competency based assessment, lesson planning, etc.

PTA Activities:

The school has organised Parent Orientation Programme and has selected the parent representatives. The events such as child mapping programme (CMP), Annual Day celebrations and Shubh Ashamsana Day(Class X Farewell) were held with the participation of all the parents. Parent representatives were taken part in the events such as Prathibha Anveshana inaugural ceremony,  world environment day celebration, and school trip.
